The conference will be held at the University Center Obergurgl / Tyrol, Austria which is located at an altitude of 1940 meters above sea-level, right by the ski slopes and just five minutes from the heart of the village. The listed historical buildings, carefully refurnished and equiped with the latest technical systems, house conference rooms, the Alpine Research Center laboratory, lounges, restaurant and 43 bedrooms. On the doorstep: one of Europe´s finest Biosphere Parks and the Oetz Valley glaciers.

The entire University Center is reserved for the conference. There will be no concurrent sessions to ensure full participation of all conferees in discussions.

How to Get There

• Information on transport to and from Obergurgl by airport shuttles or public transport

• Plane: Scheduled flights as well as charter flights from many major European cities fly to Innsbruck Airport .. Whenever it is your first time landing in Innsbruck it is a special experience.
  The international airport Munich is an alternative for coming to Tyrol. The fastest and cheapest way to get from Munich airport to Innsbruck is to travel (approx. 2 h) with an airport shuttle (e-mail: office@airport-transport.com).

• Train: Take a train to Ötztal station. Approximately 100 meters next to the station there is a bus stop named Ötztal Bahnhof. There you get on the bus towards Obergurgl and get off at the bus stop named Obergurgl Zentrum. Then you have to stick to the left and soon you will see the stone houses of the University Center.
